VERT-X Backing Plate

Our VERT-X mounts are the strongest, tool free, marine electronics mounts out there. But they are only as strong as what they are mounted to. 

Whether mounting your VERT-X electronics Mount to marine plywood, fiberglass or aluminum, the VERT-X Backing plate is a a great way to add peace of mind and ensure a problem free installation of your VERT-X Electronics mounting system for many years. 

Simply add the backing plate below the mounting surface using the mounting screws, sandwiching the mounting surface between the VERT-X Mounting base and the backing plate itself. 

The VERT-X Backing plate is 1/4" thick CNC machined 6061 Aluminum that is glass bead blasted for a matte finish and anodized for maximum corrosion resistance. The backing plate mounting holes align perfectly with the base of your VERT-X Electronics mount. The center opening allows wiring to be passed through in conjunction with the wiring groove of your VERT-X Mount.
