The Double-UP kit is an add on to the VERT-X Mounting System.
The Double-Up paired with the VERT-X Mount allows you to run two marine electronics units up to 12" each in a flat over / under configuration.
Installation is simple. Remove the two 1/4-20 screws holding the universal gimbal mounting plate to the top puck of your VERT-X mount and add the main Double-Up bracket in its place. Install the original universal gimbal plate included with your VERT-X mount and the additional one that comes with the kit. You can then install two marine electronics units of your choice. Openings in the main center bracket allow your wires to be passed through for a clean, tangle free installation.
CNC Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, glass bead blasted for a matte finish and type 2 anodized for a durable, corrosion resistant finish in any marine environment. All hardware is stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance.
